Submission Guidelines

Picture books, chapter books/early novels, or novels written or illustrated by a current resident of British Columbia. (Authors and illustrators who have lived in BC for 3 out of the last 5 years qualify for this award)
2024 or earlier imprint
Children's fiction only
$30 per submission, maximum $200 per publisher. Payable by cheque made out to Chocolate Lily Awards or e-transfer to chocolatelilybookaward@gmail.com .
Include the Submission form with your shipment (Submission form link below)
Please note that we will use text and illustrations from our shortlist to promote the award and your book
